Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Vietop Dictation (“we ”) collects, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

• Account info from Google sign-in: your name, email address, and profile picture.
• Learning activity: exercises attempted, dictation scores, streaks, points, and bookmarks.
• Program membership: which study programs you join.

2. How we use it

• To provide the Service and save your progress.
• To show your stats, accuracy, and leaderboard position.
• To let your teacher/center manage programs you join.

3. Google sign-in

We use Google OAuth to authenticate you. We receive basic profile information (name, email, avatar). We do not receive your Google password. Your use of Google is subject to Google’s own policies.

4. Storage & security

Data is stored in our hosted PostgreSQL database. We take reasonable measures to protect it, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Center staff (admins/moderators) can see aggregate activity and leaderboard information for their students.

6. Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data, progress, bookmarks, and program memberships from our database.

7. Children

If you are below the age of digital consent in your country, please use the Service only with a parent or guardian’s permission.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. We will update the “last updated” date above when we do.
